*Spoilers* As a life long warriors fan this book was a disappointment. The main plot that involves clan tensions gets lost. Squirrelflights desire for kits overrides everything else in the book. It's so convoluted that shes jealous of her own daughter giving birth and she contemplates taking them for herself. My daughter asked if the Hunters' had something against tom's. The book consistently demeans toms and suggests they shouldn't be involved in leading a clan. Lastly, the Sisters basically use witchcraft to communicate with the dead. I know Cherith Baldry studied witchcraft in college and that becomes front and center in the book. Parents should be aware incase witchcraft is something they don't wish to glorify.
