Fed did a much better job directing Evil Dead. This Alien wasted the first hour, nothing meaningful happened in the first half of the movie. The. They rushed the second half. The casting was bad, typical wokeness. But they chose kids in their early to mid 20’s too?? The cinematography was too crisp and clean. Alien is supposed to be grainy, rugged, foggy. The only redeeming quality was the ending, which was satisfying for fans. Very disappointed in Fed as director. I say this as a major fan of his filmography and Alien franchise
