A wonderful, entertaining book. Kate has an uncanny knack for finding irony and humor around every corner. Jackson is at his best, and it is great to see the reappearance of Reggie and, if only briefly, Louise. A satisfying ending to a satisfying read,

The book paints a very critical picture of the British legal system, particularly debtors prison and unscrupulous lawyers. Difficult to get past the first 50 or so pages, but moves quickly thereafter. All ends happily,
