I have no idea what happened with K-Dramas in the year 2022. So far they have been about suicide, school bullying, endings where the leads break up, or where one of the leads pass away....... with this being said, Cafe Minamdang would be the one drama that would be able to redeem my hope in K-Dramas making a comeback. This drama was brilliantly done... absolutely nothing short of pure creative genius!!! It gives you everything that you need from romance, comedy, mystery, and suspense, the perfect ingredients that will leave us as fans to feel completely full and satisfied. Everyone involved with this project deserves a standing ovation, especially the writers, creators, and people who organized such a brilliant story line. You are never board, and this drama captivates and hooks you from beginning to end with interesting twist and turns. And the whole cast itself did a stupendous job at really bringing this storyline to life. Any drama that can make you feel conflicted about the villain is one heck of a series!! To tell the truth there was no weak actors in this drama. This was an extremally strong cast in which each person did a phenomenal job at their given role. But Seo In-Guk absolutely killed it! He is such a versatile and dynamic actor and how he brings his character to life and is able to show the different layers of this character is nothing short of extraordinary. He will have you laughing one moment and crying the next! If you are unsure about this drama, I encourage you to give it a try, you wont be disappointed!!!

WOW!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💓💓💓💓💓💓I have never been a fan of fantasy dramas…… but this drama turned my world upside down….. officially shook to the core. Absolutely, phenomenally, outrageously genius! From the creators, script, story line, acting…. definitely is worth a standing ovation. Here are the reasons why: Creators/ Story line- I appreciate the thought and time the creators and writers put into this amazing and creative story line that keeps you engaged and hooked from episode one. There was not a single boring moment and there was not one episode you wanted to skip. They were able to manage to create a series that contained 36 episodes of epic love, the different forms of love, and what love can ultimately do. The whole production team manage to create and invite you into this world creating an experience. I was at the edge of my seat at the end of every episode. Actors/ Actresses- All I can say is that there was no weak actor or actress. This whole cast killed it and this was a team effort! I was not a fan of Esther or Dylan until this drama. When it came to Dylan it was hard to separate him from his character from Meteor Gardens and really didn’t care to see his other work and I never heard of Esther….. but I can officially say I have become fans of both of them. Despite the comments or bad reviews about Esther, I found her to be a very talented actress who had the capability to make me feel and experience what she was going through. This girl played 3 different role flawlessly and her crying scenes had me crying with her. Dylan shocked and amazed me in the best way possible. His acting skills has greatly improved and he did a phenomenal job portraying and demonstrating the growth of his character. The passion and kiss scenes between these two would have your heart exploding every time!! I The whole cast did amazing, and each actor was able to really bring life to their character. Criticism- The only thing I would change is that I wish there was 1-2 more episodes. I’m a detail person and I wished they would have taken a little longer to explain certain scenes, some of it felt cut off or rushed. Overall- At the end of the day this is an amazing drama and you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be rewatching it again!

No words I'm my vocabulary can express how phenomenally, beautifully, genius this master piece is and is now undoubtedly the best drama out of both the K-Drama and C-Drama world I have ever seen and is number one on my list! I don't normally like historical dramas because of the lack of romance, and only watch historical pieces when i am in a show hole and i cant find nothing else. And to be honest historical pieces tend to let me down, the only reason I gave into watching it was because there was so much talk about it....... I'm glad I gave in! Everything was perfectly done and I truly feel like that everyone involved in this are pure geniuses. From the actors, to the writers of the script, the music, the production, and I can't even forget the cinematography and editing team...... purely flawless and if this was a meal I would be licking the plate and demanding to see the chef to thank them for the wonderful experience! These actors bring the story so much to life that you become sucked into there world and experience what they are going through. You laugh with them and cry with them... Although the FL and ML absolutely out of this world extraordinary... all the characters that committed to their roles didn't fall short from great and the whole cast deserves a standing ovation. I love how the leads had so much fire, desire, and passion between them that it made up for the lack of physical romance. Their passion for one another took there love to a level that this generation has forgotten about. I also love how the writers managed to deliver a well balanced drama that didn't make you feel like you were on a horrible emotional roller coaster. And although there were moments where it was slow, I did not want to miss one part and did not dare skip any episodes! And if you are a detail oriented person then you will appreciate your many episodes there are. To many times I would watch historical dramas and they lacked details and rushed the ending and I was left disappointed. I appreciate the fact that the LLTG Team took their time to deliver such a masterpiece. I never laughed and cried this much during a drama! With all this being said....I am the biggest romantic and again that is why I don't like historical pieces. I had low expectations and was ready to be let down.... But honestly that is what helped me enjoy this drama! If you are a big romantic like me then keep in mind that the FL is playing a 15 year old and the ML is playing a 21 year old for 99% of the drama. The writers and especially the actors did an amazing job of expressing the love and passion between the lead characters that it will make your heart explode despite the lack of physical romance....I'm not saying there is none but i would like to have seen more. But with that being said the chemistry between the two leads is enough to cause a chemical explosion.. their chemistry was so hot that they could be in the same scene and do nothing but stare at each other and that would be enough to get my heart racing. Another thing to remember is that the first four episodes are important so you can understand why the FL is the way she is. As always you have all types of villains and mean girls, but please continue watching because justice is served and sometimes in the funniest ways. Although the ending could have been different I appreciate where they left the audience because it could have been worst. I can keep going on and on about this drama and I'm really hoping they come out with a season 2.....I really hope this encourages you to give this masterpiece a try!
