I wanted to start reading books and as such, this is the the first book I bought because the premise sounded cool. And what a fantastic decision it turned out to be. My experience with this book was unbelievable. Being my first book, I was amazed by my mind's ability to visualise words and the twist and turns in this book blew my mind away. Some areas of the book are difficult to grasp and it required me to read about it a bit but that never hampered my desire to finish it off. I remember reading 10 pages in the first 2-3 days, and the remaining book in another 2-3 days because I started liking it so much. For any new reader who's getting into books/novels, I will not suggest this book to be the first one of your lot, unless you love hard science fiction. I also recently watched the Netflix series (which I liked), but I now understand what people mean when they say "it's not as good as the books" or "you should read the book first". Great book, great story, great twists. I can't wait to read Dark Forest and Death's End!
