This game is definitely a step up from The Forest. Personally loving The Forest originally i had to get this game and the developers definitely killed it with this one. I personally enjoy the bigger map, and the unrestrictive ability to build, where in the original game you were stuck to just your blueprints. This game has been worth every single penny.
