I just saw the film with my wife (we're 45-50, European). We found it by far the worst movie by Leonardo di Caprio and in general the worst movie we've seen in years. It's trying to be over artistic and have a strong political message. It was simply boring and made very little sense (and we're both academic and educated and generally follow and understand current affairs).
But see for yourself. We went due to raving reviews and absolutely hated it.
