A classic case of jumping the shark. Very interesting and perplexing up until the scene at the school play, then it totally falls apart. This is an example of a good premise for a movie that fails at the end because the people responsible (writer, director, producer?) are unable to think of a good way out of the corner they’ve painted themselves into.
