Exactly the same storyline as previous editions but with poor acting, weak script, annoying characters and silly storyline that contradicts itself. Cringy, in bad taste ending. Actually fell asleep during this movie it was so predictable. 1) Humans & malfunctioning robot enter deserted haunted house happy and unaware of impending horrors. 30 mins 2) Monster with acid for blood attacks & eats humans one by one until only the robot & one female human remains. 40 mins 3) Last Human, and scorned female monster play hide and seek in dark tunnels with leaking steam pipes & flashing lights for 30 mins. 4) Monster disables helpful robots. Human enables countdown self destruct explosion. 5) Human always wins but only after mutated monster comes back from the dead for one last scare 6) Human escapes with robot and/or child/pet just as the haunted house explodes. 7) Human, robot and/or child pet go into cryosleep. Replace characters, but keep monster. Hire trendy director and produce sequels every few years.
