Surprisingly entertaining.
I was expecting this movie to be another one of those mediocre horror movies on Netflix.
But I really enjoyed Samara Weaving's acting, and how she made the terror her character was experiencing very convincing. Her screams were as real as it can get. I was pretty much glued on to the screen.
There was a nice amount of dark comedy, and the brutality of characters being murdered was actually difficult to watch even when I've watched much more brutal movies like the SAW series. So I thought the acting and the direction of the movie was great.
The one less star was because, overall I thought the story was somewhat predictable. But overall definitely worth the watch!
