This evening I watched CBS Evening News, which I don't normally watch but thought I'd give it a look since there are new people anchoring it. They spent quite a bit of time lambasting President Trump for pardoning the people charged and found guilty, rightly or wrongly, for January 6th crimes, some of whom probably shouldn't have been released. The worst crime they were charged with was assault on a police officer, a heinous crime under any circumstances. Most were charged with much lesser crimes. After that report would have been the perfect time to cover the 100's of criminals President Biden pardoned and commuted sentences for, including murderers, rapists, and the felon who assassinated 2 FBI agents. Apparently that wasn't news worthy for CBS!
