This show is the absolute worst depiction of the true rage and brutality of slavery. If I could give it a zero, I would! Even as pure entertainment for tv, I don’t appreciate my ancestors pain being televised and watered down for the digestion for some who can’t stomach the authenticity of the economy of slavery. Descendents of slavery do not need the re-traumatization of brutality and hate every year unless year.
