This honestly could’ve been a hit if it weren’t for the terrible casting and obvious sponsorships. I understood what they were going for; they thought that casting a TikTok star to be a TikTok star would work out perfectly, but sadly, it just didn’t work out the way they were hoping. Don’t get me wrong, Addison Rae is an AMAZING dancer, she’s just not an actress. We all have talents in different fields, and that’s okay. Secondly, the sponsorships were so obvious that it is hilarious. For the Pizza Hut sponsor, “Enjoying free Pizza Hut is what we’re doing.” It actually made me laugh out loud. Besides these major cons, I found myself getting invested in the plot. Which makes me think I’m probably better off watching the original, She’s All That instead. It has a similar plot and better actors/actresses. Lastly, I don’t mean any hate to anyone, and this review is only my opinion. Who knows, maybe you’ll find yourself enjoying this.
