This movie is supposed to be a metaphor for misogyny passed down by men to other men. However, I don't think this was done in the right way. Instead the movie accidentally implies that being sexists is part of being a man and its just nature. It also implies that women are partly responsible for this by the pregnant woman in the post credits, and the fact she texts her freind the same thing a sexists boy says. The ending wasn't clear. Was the women going to kill her manipulative husband or did she think his message was true? To get the moral of this story across not everything needed to be a visual metaphor, it could use more explanation. It feels like a movie tying to be anti misogyny but is actually sexist because the writer wanted to make him self look deep and philosophical rather than have an actual plot. Not to mention that an attempt rape is on screen for way to long and giving birth is used as body horror.
