This is a book nightmares are made of. Not for sensitive people. A world where there are no choices. Where people happily murder infants and children, and promote suicide. Even the escape of one 12 year old who rescued his baby brother is less than satisfying. There are no redeeming qualities in this tale of a nightmarish life.
