bigil A sport drama with full of sportive, excercise, fitness, footballskills, workouts and lot more too and with lots of fights, action, drama, emotions, social message, humour, romance, and a comedy too makes a perfect mass masala elements with lots of thrills, joy, fun, and emotions too.
The action sequences are stunning, and you know that from the moment you hear it's a Vijay film. One of the most impressive ones was the bike driving stunt which I felt looked really heart-pounding. The fight sequences are masterfully choreographed and backed by strong emotions, due to which I felt for the characters. Music is also good, and the production values are impressive.
Vijay has almost always delivered great performances, but with his performance as Rayappan, he has proved that he's indeed perfect at playing characters elder than his own age. His dialogue delivery and expressions as Rayappan were really touching, and I could feel his pain whenever he spoke. Even as Michael, Vijay is excellent and you can feel his character has gone through a lot of things, and deserves to succeed. Nayanthara's character is also well written, and she delivers another stunning performance. Others such as Daniel Balaji, Jackie Shroff and Indhuja are also impressive.
