Incredibly imaginative and intellectual show. I fell in love with the characters easily and was hooked from the very first episode. The first season gripped me in a way no other show has, the second season only tightened that grip. To give an indication of how amazing this show truly is, when it was announced that Netflix had cancelled it, I cancelled Netflix. Every Netflix original I've enjoyed was cancelled early, so I have little desire to invest my time and money in a story they're likely to end after two seasons with so much more story to tell. I'll likely go back for Stranger Things, but just to binge it before cancelling again. I would recommend watching The OA if you love unique storytelling, but be prepared for an unsatisfying and wholly unacceptable early end to this incredible story.
