This could be the best TV series I've ever seen. And I'm the same age as Malotru. The first thing an American viewer will notice is the sparse use of music, which give the show a clean, realistic feel. When music is only used to heighten drama, it magnifies the effect significantly more than having a soundtrack drone non-stop throughout every episode.
The performances are incredible, not to mention that several characters speak multiple languages in order to fulfill their undercover roles.
This is the only TV series - other than Breaking Bad - that I wanted to watch again as soon as it was over.
