Reading other reviews, it seems like some expected this to be a remake of the Wizard of Oz. It is NOT, it is a film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked. I thought it was very well done, but be aware that they take two-and-a-half hours just to get you up to intermission in the Broadway show. The singing and production is five stars, but they lose a star for pace. Oh, and the intermission lasts thirteen months, as part two is scheduled for a December 2025 release. Highly recommend if you haven't seen the play, lukewarm recommendation if you have,
