Had to read it for a humanities class a couple of years ago and was almost successful at completely wiping it out of my memory. This dude thinks too highly of himself and his understanding of the world. This whole book feels like it exists simply because he loves hearing himself talk and made the extrapolation everyone else does too. Soooooo pretentious and so sociologically wrong about so many things.
