Split into three sections, the book records the author's attempts to put her life back together after her divorce.
The first section is amusing and entertaining, as she learns to speak (and eat) Italian.
The middle section is a complete bore, dwelling on the far-too-detailed weeks of meditation in India as she works her way through her problems. Enough to put amyone off joining a retreat.
The final section, in Indonesia, is interesting to travellers as it details life in Bali. By then I'd lost interest in the author's life entirely...
I respect the author's reasons for writing this book, but don't waste time reading it ..
