I'm only giving it two stars because Judi dench says "get the four-leaf clover out of here" and that was the only magical thing about this movie. Mulch was nauseatingly corny, not even endearingly so, Artemis jr loved ireland and surfing a lot for some reason, and they murdered Butler. He didn't die in the movie but they set him up as this badass and subsequently threw him around like a rag doll near the end. I understand they're trying to reach new audiences (children obviously with knockoff hagrid and cool arty who rides gnarly waves) and maybe encourage them to read the books, but who in their right mind could even compare them to this movie? I knew they wouldnt be able to fit everything cool in a Disney movie, and I shouldn't have expected itd be made for those that loved the series. Such a waste. Sorry Eoin.
