I have gone to an early showing of Avatar 2 in 3D , it’s long and drawn out and your typical good versus evil story. As much as James Cameron talks about the hate for testosterone, the movie does focus the bond between father and sons. Jake Sully seems to soften like most dads when you have you children, but remains firm. The Sourgney Weaver role was kinda of a huh? but oh well. Zoe Saldana’s cry always freaks me out, but nobody is perfect. Avatar’s designs and costumes are very cool, the military’s new machinery is very impressive. Eddie Falco was a bit to much as the head chick in charge, but we have to remember we live in unrealistic times of wokeness. Avatar is a good holiday movie, but I suggest you see it in 3D, It really brings out the feel of Pandora’s box.
