I find Judge Judy very arrogant and unfair. I understand that if a "witness" is not present that one can not say what an absent person said and/or saw. She can accept notarize statements from an absent witness. I have written many notarized statements for court cases because I could not be in court for one reason or another.
Judge Judy does not even listen to witnesses in court that could make a difference in a few cases
