Songs from the '98 version are sorely missed. New introductions to the already known story were not enough to make this movie work. The fighting choreography and scenic atmosphere were spectacular but the film just felt bland overall.

James Avoy masterfully performs acting acrobatics, sometimes mid-line with his characters 24 distinct personalities. The rest of the movie is basically a typical horror flick where you want to scream at the protagonists for not making better decisions.
