the essence of this book is depicted by the following points:
1. people who don't live by our perception of reality are the ones whom we regard as "mad".
2. we all have madness inside us, yet we conceal it behind the mask of normality, in order to live according to the norms and die anyway and ultimately go to heaven or hell according to our deeds. we have an urge to be black or white; not grey.
3. we must live, not just exist.
