This book introduces “The Market Opportunity Navigator” method. It adds critical components to and complements other well-known business tools, in particular, the “Business Model Canvas” and the “Lean Startup Methodology”.
The method helps to get a broader overview of strategic opportunities (to look at multiple market options before leaping) and the reader develops a "smart focus" - focus on one market yet have others in view.
Some part of the book is also written towards technology transfer offices and trainers in business management.
Marc Gruber is a great presenter and I would recommend buying the book in combination with a workshop with Marc.
