I so wanted to like this because I love Beetlejuice, but dear Lord, what a waste!!! Apparently, Tim Burton has reached a point where no one can tell him no, but someone should have. This movie is a jumbled, confusing morass with the weirdest musical sequences(MacArthur Park??!!, really??) and couldn’t have been less funny if he’d lost a bet to make the most unfunny movie of all time. What a total waste of talent and time!
