Great visual effects, action sequences and atmosphere, but minimal on the character building, relationships, or just even just dialogue (at all). So, truly exciting, but not enough really care.
Bladerunner's tone works because it is about robots and it's thesis is existential.
Whereas here, it is neither, and it comes across as a bit grandiose.
