Perfectly nostalgic and better than the first film that I grew up with. I loved Rooster, Maverick and Penny. Wonderful moments of humor. Took my 14-year old son who also loves the original film. Ironically, I always say the first film should have been rated PG-13, but Maverick easily could have been PG (one major curse word towards the end). Loved seeing Ed Harris - one of my favorite actors. Great supporting cast. Loved the music. There is very little to not like. I appreciate how seriously Tom Cruise took his role again. His love of the franchise really came through. We all needed this “feel good” movie and even after years of delays, it felt like it came out at the perfect time. Definitely one to see twice in the theater!
