I was a little worried it would be a prelude to the Johnny Depp version that I felt absolutely destroyed the magic and creativity of the original done by Gene Wilder. This was awesome. Whimsical and entertaining. Even possibly leaving room for a possible sequel where he goes to the island to recruit Oompa Loompas. I must say that I laughed, shed a tear, and enjoyed every bit of this movie. They certainly picked the BEST acter for Willy with this movie. The psrt was played beautifully!! 💜💗
