Honestly, this story was full of interesting and insane plot twists, but there were several paragraphs that were completely unnecessary. It also had a very slow start, which made me get into a reading slump. The book is repetitive, and the Caleb part was unneeded. The only thing that part did was make Jude the victim once again, and makes him afraid to do or go anywhere for quite some time. Also, if Jude wanted to “better himself for Willem”, why did he not take therapy seriously? I had very high expectations for this book due to the reviews, but overall, I personally didn’t find it as interesting as others did.
