What is wrong with you people? I am totally familiar with Silence of the Lambs and all related books and thought you did a god job of choosing Rebecca Breeds for the part of Clarice. Her accent is believable. The first episodes were quite good and then all of a sudden things went south when the show became a never ending investigation. It seems like the shows are drawn out just to fill a time slot. Then her boss does not allow Clarice to do her job after she was brilliant in the first episode. Unbelievable. Now, the worst part is you hired and actress that has mental problems? Couldn't you hire Reese Witherspoon or maybe Sandra Bullock to play Clarice?? Neither have a history of mental problems. I would think that the producers would have a clause in the contract that if an actor develops mental problems they could be replaced. You even air the private meeting with her psychiatrist! If you could replace that actor who plays Clarice's boss with someone like Tom Hanks you would not have the friction between the two of them that seems to hinder the investigation.
