This movie looks amazing and the cast are great but I left the IMAX feeling cold and deflated.
I appreciate that this is only one half of the story but Part 1 doesn't stand well enough on its own. It's a shame: I really wanted to like this movie. Perhaps I was too dazzled by the hype but whatever the case, for me, Dune Part 1 was an incredibly dull slog through the sand.
