I have watched both seasons and this show is the best sci-fi tv show since at least the rebooted Battlestar Galactica. It is what the original series probably should have been or could have been if the budget and special effects had been around. But the old show had its charms and I am not knocking it. This new show pays homage to it with the same character names and a similar saucer shaped ship and a nameless robot. Also some subtle music cues. But that is where the similarities end. This one is mostly an adrenaline rush. Especially the second season. It was 10 hours of take your breath away tension and release as the Robinson's survive one misfortune after another but remain a family that tries their hardest to stay together!
