I liked this movie the whole time I was watching it until the very end. IT DOESN'T FINISH! They end with this great theory that could possibly save everyone and then they just end the movie before they actually get to it! My family and I were so confused. We skipped forward to look for more story past the credits, but there wasn't anything else. "So unfulfilling!" Not to mention that the ending scene kinda instills this backwards theme that is wrong to me (morally).
Lastly, through the movie, I don't believe the character at all. She has a solid, unchanging opinion, and then she spontaneously changes her opinion of the hottest topic in her life for no reason. She makes these huge decisions despite her stark oposing desire! I don't think any real person would actually do that. Her actions lack motivation, and the whole movie in general lack closure. I wanna see if everything works out in the end; the cure, the romance, the kinda lost friendship (Shay), the city, and her family. It left so many big plot-drivers left hanging.
Though this movie was good, and entertaining for a while, I would give it a two star rating in consequence of the huge lack of motivation and closure..
