. Keeping aside the merits of the film, very much disappointed to see how the Hindu group is portrayed in the movie drawing parlance to Gujarat riots 2002 - depicting how Hindu group ( represents a villain)involved in 2002 riots in an indescent way depicting like raping of pregnant women , butchering Muslim community etc on the screen ( ultimately a Hero emerges from this group to take revenge on Hindu Villain) . It looks like somebody wants to teach a lesson to the producers of the Film “Kashmir Files” wherein it is depicted how the Muslim group butchered Kashmiri Pundits. Not expected a movie like this from people like Mohanlal and Prithviraj who are supposed to be non controversial unlike some producers/ directors in Bollywood. . Definitely this movie creates a tussle between Right wing and left wing groups.
