Overall, a solid movie that captures the "wholesome" essence that Superman is always meant to represent and a good start to DC Studios. I'm a Superman fan, and I've also been a DC fan growing up. Movie has some good character teases in it. The John Williams theme (albeit modernized/remixed) from the '78 film is played throughout the movie, but you never get sick of it. Corenswet is a terrific Superman, and Hoult plays Luthor like the comic book villain he is. Sure, one very minor critique I have is that Gunn used bit too much humor at times; could've toned down the humor a little. But not a dealbreaker at all. I really felt like a kid marveling at all the superheroes watching this movie.
