The film is not made for children which is why I like it. Being a fan of both the child friendly adaptation and the darker version of the book you could imagine I was eager to watch this film and it did not disappoint me. Personally I loved seeing something completely different from the kid friendly adaptation. This is a must watch for fans of the book however I would not recommend watching this with children under 12.

I was hoping Disney would at least put in the effort to change the plot like they did with jungle book but after all Disney’s main concern is money and that’s why this film is a failure.
