Interesting program but they contradic facts on different episodes Good example shows a VW karmon being fitted using a hyper 9 motor and connecting it to original gearbox stating drives great and everything spot on. Also stated was that the BHP had been increased from around 46 hp to around 120 hp with the electric motor. Great you think but as anyone with mechanical knowledge knows increase bhp to a gearbox will shred it in a short period of time due to torque. The following day they are showing a chisel speedster which uses identical running gear I.e VW engine and gearbox but this time they clearly state on the show the gearbox has to be uprated or the electric motor will shred it due to torque. Would be interested in comments
