A classic show turned into a movie. It’s hard to do it correctly but not impossible; other shows had a successful transformation to silver screen.
Addams family (90’s)
Brady Bunch (90’s)
Charlie’s Angels (early 2000’s)
This is a flop. It’s like wearing a wool over coat in July, it just feels uncomfortable. The jokes don’t land, the characters are 1 dimensional and the over acting is far from acceptable as humor. This feels like a TV movie made during the summer while we all wait for hit shows to return in the fall (just nonsensical plotless crude). Can’t and won’t recommend this film. It could have been so much better of a comedy if Rob Z didn’t direct this 1.
