I hadn’t read anything about this movie..I especially did not know it was a musical- I had expected the typical action/excitement from DC Universe movies (perhaps others expected this and were disappointed and and surprised at the change of style…And gave it low ratings? Why else? It was an excellent movie and not a sequel per Dr- It was a musical but the mood reminded me of an opera. Don’t let this stop you kids! Joaquin’s acting is amazingly touching-he deserves lots of recognition for this role (Oscar?) I loved it!
