This drama is absolutely amazing!!! To be honest I took a break from Kdramas for more than half a year. I didn’t find one that caught my attention. I was getting really tired of the stuck up rich male leads and the naive cheesy female leads falling for each other story lines, so I just took a break. I got bored of the predictable plots. Three days ago, I started Queen of Tears because my friend recommended it to me. Well, I binge watched all the available episodes. I can’t wait for the next new episodes since its airing!! The plot is unique and intriguing. I love the acting of both the male and female lead. Their chemistry is absolutely remarkable. Their cute moments together make your heart flutter. The female lead isn’t stupid and unsure of herself, she is a confident and kind lady that speaks her mind. The male lead is kind, humble and honest. He is not a snot that makes you irritated. The plot is relatable. I love watching a drama where both leads have strong and confident personalities. No one is trying to fix or give self esteem to the other person. No trauma bonding, just stable individuals that have a back bone and can stand their ground. Both are mature and know how they feel, and can own up to their mistakes and choices. I love how the story starts after marriage, not before. Giving it a realistic and unique spin. In this drama you find valuable lessons on the importance of honest communication between a couple, the importance of apologizing and resolving misunderstandings which makes this drama unique. Love the character development. Also love the side characters in the drama as well! Can’t wait for the next episodes!!!
