One of the best movies I've seen this year, completely gripping! I don't want to give any spoilers away so I'll just say that the way they've handled certain aspects of this picture are brilliant. Be patient with this movie as it develops in ways unexpected but totally rewarding. Great work from the cast also!

Watched it the first time without any prior knowledge of the story/lore and gave it a 7/10. Did a little reading which clarified a few things for me and gave it a second watch. What can I say, this movie is simply magnificent and I can't wait for the next movie. 10/10! (if a Dune noob like myself, I'd recommend at least 2 watches with a little reading in between)

The glaring difference between the critic reviews and audience reviews makes me wonder why we have critics at all. This film was fantastic. I didn't feel like any of the run time could have been left out and enjoyed every minute, this is not a slog to watch, it's a pleasure! I've watched it twice and enjoyed it even more the second time around. I for one would love to see where this story would go in sequels and love the darker R rated tone. There is space for the light hearted Marvel movies and this! The audience reviews prove that. Well done Mr Snyder.
