If I was just giving my straight opinion, I’d give it less stars, but I know I’m just annoyed by the dramatic family dynamic, which isn’t super unrealistic for most people, including me in some ways. It just rubbed me the wrong way. The other thing that bothered me was, they’re at a convention and there’s a statue that looks heavy enough to be in a museum, and unstable enough to make it a liability, and not an easy thing to set up for a convention? I just don’t see that happening. It was so silly and aggrandized. The visuals are the most fun thing about this show for me. It’s very eye catching. The actor who plays Kamala is very sweet and fun in interviews. I’m sure this would be something a kid would like, but it misses the making it interesting for adults too mark for me. It’s something you would watch with the family to me, which isn’t at all bad, unless you’re single and trying to watch it on your own. 😂
