TL;DR - It's a timegated mobile-style game that you pay $15 for.
As someone who works all day and sleeps all night with 1-2 days off every 10 or so to sit down and enjoy time to myself, this game is utterly ridiculous when you realize you're *paying* for an average of 30-45 minutes of "allowed" playtime before you run out of quests to do and are told to just "come back tomorrow!" by the NPCs. Yea, "tomorrow" might be easy for a SAHM or kids, but blue collar adults don't get that luxury; so in a sense, it's wasted money on this purchase because by the time I get time to come back, I've already moved on to something worth enjoying at the pace I choose without having to worry about timetraveling and corrupted save files.
Maybe I'm just getting older, but I remember back when you paid for a game, you got the entire game and you could play it however you wanted. Finish it in a day or 6 months, it was entirely your CHOICE - as it should still be.
That reason alone subtracts 4 stars. 1 genuine star because the music/visuals were perfect - but if I wanted that, I'd just buy an album and save money considering most digitals go for $10 these days lol.
