Less say in what the producers want, also just show us new life forms w/o over-explanation of how and why .People have google ok they can research what they don't understand. But, headed in the right direction as to--the original star trek

4 stars from me is a very high mark indeed. Despite the strained and implausible storyline, the dialog and the make up and the score--were all fine art-pieces unto themselves. Costumes also get high marks here. And the fact that these facets of the movie were done so well--helped to ease me into the plot, as much as I could. These actors and that director really know their craft in some respects too!. I almost sat thru the entire 2 plus hours. Yes that score was the icing on the cake that kept me there. waiting to see the next great make up effect. They made this film nearly really work well--and It was well worth it (when all was finally said and done).

Some good moments, some over explained over directed over acted moments. Or, was that all just poor writing I saw trying to be overcome with acting and directing tricks? I was seldom drawn into this show. When I was it was heaven.

Watched all season 1 and 2 and thought pretty good but I hardly ever felt draw into this show. Star Trek in general has become too over worked and or too contrived for my dramatic taste. Hope season 3 will improve.

Oddly endearing and quite well done television.... A sitcom/action/thriller--meets a serial killing actor, who... apparently does it all.

I was half impressed and half unimpressed. Scenery and costumes and props were the main things to impress me. Loved the gadgets and the flying mobiles. Fight sequences were better than average too! Yet, the :most important item on my list that makes a movie great was the dialogue (the script) and the acting (the delivery of the script). These actors trying to sound so cool. Seems to be a Hollywood trend or something. I am not impressed with cool--delivery of underwritten lines. Please Hollywood .... go back to giving me lively dialogue with a variety of meaningful connections between the actors.

I was an hour older by the time I wised-up and turned this dark, dull dupe of a movie OFF!
