I had in my possesion a 1954 signed edition by Paul Brickhill , of which l gave to some friend who moved to the UK , to deliver to the museum at R A F Station Tangmere ( where l learnt to fly , but medical problems had other ideas ) , l have a small dilemma . All my life , from a young cadet , l believed it was a Gloster Gamecock that Douglas Bader was flying when he crashed , now sixty years later l read it was a Bristol Bulldog . Could you kindly inform me as to which aircraft it was. l actually regret parting with this edition . Can you confirm for me ? Thanks so much . Brian .
