If you have read the book then you will know that giving this movie even 1 star is too much. First of all let’s start with the casting. Lily is 23 atlas 26 and the characters in the movie looks too old to be 23 and 26 years old!! Ryle was fine! Next lily’s clothing..like why was she dressed like a homeless person? She went homeless atlas was! Anyways now let’s go to the important parts! They have literally changed alll the dialogues! Like the original dialogues in the novel was so good while in the movie is soo bad so shallow like they were trying to force comedy and make it a romcom! They missed the whole part about her motivating atlas to be stronger to “keep swimming” the depth of the trauma she had which affected her relationship with Ryle! In the novel lily was a strong girl she knew she wanted a relationship, she knew her value. That’s why the ryle in the book changed because of the women she was and started wanting the things in life that she wanted. The Ryle in the book had to beg lily to forgive her every time and that’s why she was confused most of the time because she didn’t wanted her childhood trauma to affect her relationship with Ryle at the same time she didn’t wish to go through it all like her mother had. The novel focuses on the trauma a child with a parent who’s in an abusive relationship. The way it would confuse the child to believe what’s right or wrong. Which want captured in the movie.. the lily in the movie was too “easy” no depth between her relationship with either Ryle or atlas. They just removed all the important parts, important scenes and made it to your usual “melodrama” Atlas and Ryle were two important characters too but they just look like cameo in the movie. I know it’s just a 2 hour film and the novel is pretty big but it’s possible for a movie too be as good as a novel For eg me before you! Like when you see the movie they have captured all the emotions of the novel into the movie.. They just didn’t added whole unnecessary scenes and dialogues into it.. they kept it true to the story and it was the best adaption ever.. so it’s not like you can’t capture the novel’s essence into a movie..and it’s not impossible. Anyways this movie could have been much better but idk why they had to ruin it. If you have read the book recently just try to forget the story if you wanna watch the movie or just go with the mind that it’s “inspired by the book” and it’s not the “adaptation” of it. Or if you haven’t read the novel but are thinking to read it before the movie. Don’t! Just go and watch the movie if you want then read it.. you will be less disappointed.

It's a feel-good drama that knows how to tug at your heartstrings without being overly dramatic. Honestly, I couldn't resist recommending it to everyone I know.

Ayushmann Khurrana is that one actor whose movie I don’t miss. Dream girl 1 was amazing so was extremely excited to watch the second part but it was certainly a very disappointing movie. Was expecting the second to be better than the first one but it was way worse. Jokes weren’t funny, story line was meh, every actor has done overacting. In short this movie is just 2hrs of boredom with very few good jokes here and there

After watching so many reels about the show and hearing good reviews about it I thought to watch it But tbh it’s not worth the hype! Like the characters are so over dramatic and loud seriously every episode gave me a headache. The plot of exposing “influencer world” was good but they ruined with the same old story line of murder revenge like penthouse,glory etc.. Nothing new about the show. And the FL character was so irritating…like haven’t found anything good about her. The only reason I had to watch till the last episode was because I wanted to know what happened.. But unfortunately had to go through the whole long and slow story line. I would say save your time and watch something else.
