Beyond stupid, at best. The point I think is to feel sorry for a poor woman with cancer who can’t get a slice of pizza (literally, I’m not joking) while an alien race attacks NYC. There’s also a young guy who through it all, through the biggest calamity in human existence — refuses to takw off his tie. The people who wrote and produced this would be among the first killed in the event of a real disaster, judging by their apparent inability to make half-intellifnet decisions.
